How to enter the Amazing Spaghetti Machine Contest

Before you register

Ensure you have read the contest rules prior to registering and that your team is eligible to take part. The Contest Rules are the terms and conditions of the contest. By submitting an application to enter, applicants will be deemed to have declared themselves in accordance with these terms and conditions, and in acceptance of the Contest Rules.

How to enter

Entry for the contest is online. Applicants will be asked to provide:

  • School name and address
  • Staff supervisor name and contact details (email, phone)
  • A declaration of agreement to abide by the contest rules (as detailed on the contest website)

Please note that team member names will be requested only after selected teams are announced.

There is no registration fee for school teams wishing to take part in the contest. In 2023, the contest organisers will provide teams with all materials required to build their machine therefore we do not anticipate any additional cost to teams/schools (aside from transportation costs incurred when attending 'Build day' and 'Competition day').

A list of selected teams will be made available a few days after registrations close and teams will be notified via email.
